In the result of our survey, the most purchased items are clothes. Also, number of entrepreneur retailing of clothes ranked the highest as well. On top of it, retailing of clothes as well is the most preferred line by the majority of would-be entrepreneur to venture in.
Although there are high demand on clothes, the current supply is only slightly lower than demand. Should these would-be entrepreneurs be really venturing into the retailing of clothes, it could cause the circumstances of supply more than demand. This could cause high competition among entrepreneurs that could be detrimental to their business as in retail price; although it is beneficial to the consumers point of view as in the ability to buy clothes in a very economical price.
However, on the would-be entrepreneurs point of view, should they be desire to venture into clothing line, the clothes design have to be extraordinary and exclusive in order to compete with the current entrepreneur and gaining better profit.

most of the time buying cloths form online is less risky than buying things that have high price . And also there are some goods that need to bring carefully. like things made by glasses.
ReplyDeleteso most of the buyers go to online to buy cloths . and also same time they can see different kind of models with out going around and wasting time.
In my country the cloths are one of the product that we export to other countries. so most of the time we can find cloths for less price from the original makers. so many of the entrepreneurs have contacts with these cloth makers and these entrepreneurs work as a middle man with customers.
even though they can find these cloths , because of the high demand they cannot supply as they want. and also some entrepreneurs want to keep this low supply level to keep the price rate. other wise if supply goes high it will cause to lower the price.
Yes, I agree with Baratha and Wei Yee. Internet users can get cheaper price if they buy clothes online. Clothes from shops are more expensive because sellers need to earn more profit in order to cover their utility fees and so on.

ReplyDeleteIn this case, like what jen said, less cost in utility and other expenses in retailing clothes online rather than owning a store is true. People can really buy clothes with a reasonable/ affordable price. But sometimes having to buy clothes online could be more expensive due to the shipping cost, depends on the location, usually higher cost in region outside Malaysia. As mentioned by Wei Yee, clothes design have to be extraordinary in order for new young entrepreneurs to compete with the current entrepreneurs online. Extraordinary in my opinion is meant by creating design with new ideas which at the same time comfortable,multifunctional and easy for the eye to look at..no gaga please
