What are things that undergraduates sell online? (ques 2)

E-entrepreneurs are getting popular among undergraduates since they can sell their products, as well as their services to other users. For undergraduates who study in art/ creative field, they used to sell their artwork online. One of the most popular websites that enables artists to sell their products are www.devianart.com.
Other than that, undergraduates used to sell accessories, clothes and even mobiles online. Most of them like to use facebook as their platform since facebook is free and user-friendly.

  2. most of the times they use Face book as there platform and also most of the time they use it because many people can see there product in one place. if we take deviant art , it is not wildly spread as Face book.

some use to sell second hand products. they work as a dialer or middle man. if they find some one have some thing to sell they put it in there website or their platform. ans also as Jen said some sell their art work and things. and also some of them doing online freelancing. may be it cannot count as selling some thing. but its also a business happen in online.

  3. Other than Facebook, let's not forget about Blogger. It also served as a convenient platform for entrepreneurs to set up their business "premise". It's very convenient even for undergraduates in science faculties.

As for the more professional entrepreneurs, they mostly set up their own website. Maybe for creative purposes. They might prefer to add some individual touches to make themselves unique. It is their virtual business premise after all!

Here are some links to those websites i mentioned:

  4. And this young entrepreneurs who did their own business online by making their own website, really worth the effort. For example Ashley Qualls, American, 17 years old, has built a million dollar website called “Whateverlife.com”. It featured supply of designs for MySpace pages and attracted thousands of girls everyday. According to Google Analytics, Whateverlife attracts more than 7 million individuals and 60 million page views a month. A larger audience than the combination of Seventeen, Teen Vogue and CosmoGirl! altogether.

Asia also have a lot of young and successful entrepreneurs. One of them is an Indonesian, aged 23. Bellamy Benedetto Budiman, founder and designer of Neuro-designs. He started Neuro-Designs back in high school and notice that he love doing designs. So he started to do freelance assignments. Today, the firm handles web, print, logo, and multimedia assignments as well as design consulting, for clients in Indonesia. It has form alliances with other design firms, photographers and printing company and also an active supporter of Godote.com, an Indonesian design community.

  5. The young talented people in traditional art and digital art can also make money from their works. deviantart.com provides exhibitions for its users to sell their arts or their prints. Many people appreciate arts in different types. But since we're talking about e-business here, digital arts are taking over the markets more than the traditional art such as Photography, Digital painting and drawing, etc.

This is one of the ways to make money for the talented ones.
